Multiple crews called to water main break in Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Crews responded to a water main break in Bethlehem Monday morning.

Update: Edward Boscola, director of the city’s Department of Water and Sewer Resources, told 69 News that the water service was restored at 3 p.m., and 8 homes are on a boil water advisory. Boscola says crews were able to replace an 8-inch pipe, and plan on filling in the hole with backfill.

The break was reported between Butztown Road and Lansdale Avenue…
