TINICUM TWP., Pa. – A beloved spot for guitars, mandolins, ukuleles and a wide array of musical gear and accessories is bidding farewell after more than three decades of business.
Tinicum Guitar Barn, a family-owned and -operated shop that buys, sells and trades used and vintage electric guitars, acoustic guitars, amplifiers and more, is set to close this spring at 2 Sherman Road in the Ottsville section of Tinicum Township, Bucks County.
The countryside, mom-and-pop shop, surrounded by trees, bushes and other lush greenery, was established in 1993 by husband and wife Karl and Idarose Huf.
Over the years, the Hufs have helped thousands of aspiring and seasoned musicians find the perfect instrument or piece of equipment, and they’re now looking to “slow down and take it easier,” Karl told 69 News…
