A delivery route turned into a foot chase Monday afternoon when a UPS driver pursued a suspected package thief through a Bucks County neighborhood.
According to the Warwick Township Police Department, officers were dispatched at 1:15 p.m. to the 900 block of Beechwood Place for a reported theft in progress. A package had just been delivered when a suspect allegedly grabbed it, prompting the driver to take off on foot after the man.
Police said the chase moved through residential yards and continued to the 1000 block of Bancroft Place. The suspect then entered a waiting vehicle and fled the area…
