A museum with deep ties to music history and just a short drive from the Poconos is earning national recognition.
The USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, which spotlight standout destinations across travel, food and culture, ranked the Martin Guitar Museum among the best in the country. The Nazareth-based museum secured the No. 8 spot on the list of Best Music Museums, placing it alongside some of the nation’s most celebrated institutions.
According to its website, C.F. Martin & Co., founded in 1833, has remained family-owned for six generations, building instruments that helped define the sound of American music. Its founder, C.F.
