WINTER STORM TO IMPACT OUR AREA

A winter storm will impact the region today. Expect light rain/snow showers to develop early. Accumulation looks minimal as temperatures will be above freezing. The rain/snow shower activity will become all snow and turn heavier through this afternoon and evening with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. The snow will continue into the night with another 2 to 4 inches possible, especially east of the Susquehanna River.

Much of the region will see 4 to 8 inches of snow with less to the west and more to the east. Roads will really go downhill Sunday evening and sloppy conditions are expected through the Monday morning commute. Because of the expected winter weather, Sunday and Monday are both Weather WARN days…
