‘Ed was one of the best…he will not be forgotten’: Wilson borough worker killed in crash while on his way to clear roads, mayor says

WILSON, Pa. – Wilson Borough, Northampton County’s mayor says a borough worker on his way to help clear roads during the snow emergency was killed in the Lower Nazareth Township crash over the weekend.

59-year-old Edward Segreaves was a dedicated member of the Borough’s Public Works Department, Wilson Mayor Donald Barrett said in a Facebook post Tuesday.

Authorities say the two-vehicle accident happened Sunday on Route 191 (Nazareth Pike) near its intersection with Gradwohl Switch Road. Segreaves and 22-year-old Lucas Snyder, both of Lower Nazareth Township, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, the Northampton County Coroner’s Office said…
