The Quakertown police chief and borough manager has been placed on administrative leave after an incident at an anti-ICE protest where he appeared to put a teenage girl in a chokehold.
The Quakertown borough solicitor confirmed that Scott McElree was placed on workers comp leave for both of his positions, NBC10 Philadelphia reported.
McElree told The Philadelphia Inquirer he was out with “workman’s comp injuries.”…
