Late last night around 11:40 PM, firefighters from Station 26 and nearby departments responded to a house fire on the 200 block of W. Walnut Street in Perkasie Borough. Heavy flames were reported coming from the second floor when crews arrived. Engine 26 and Tower 27 quickly went into action to control the fire and search the home.
The fire was brought under control after a strong joint effort from multiple volunteer fire companies. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but two families were displaced.
