Two hikers called 911 after spotting what they believed were human remains where found at Ridley Creek State Park near 71 Chapel Hill Road in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County, around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Upper Providence Township police responded to the scene and requested the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office to assist. The medical examiner recovered the evidence and confirmed it to be human remains, state police said.
