Easton City Council approves deal with church for public parking

EASTON, Pa. – Easton City Council approved a deal Wednesday night to help address the city’s parking demands.

The city will acquire additional public parking spaces through a pact with St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at 330 Ferry St. The agreement opens the parking lot to public parking outside church use hours.

Availability to the city will be from Monday through Sunday between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m., except for Sundays from 8 a.m. through 2 p.m. From 2 p.m. Sunday through 8 a.m. Monday, the city will have discretion as to the hours the public can use the parking spaces…
