Pair of Lehigh Valley restaurants closed after wind from storm blows off roof; GoFundMe started

A pair of Lehigh Valley restaurants are closed after wind from a severe storm Monday night blew the roof off the building they share.

The New Santiago’s Restaurant at 125 S. Third St, which is Route 309, in Coopersburg posted on social media Tuesday that it would be temporarily closed because of the storm damage.

“The safety of our team and community is our top priority,” the post read. “We will keep you updated and announce as soon as we are able to reopen.”…
