NORRISTOWN — A jury determined a former East Greenville man engaged in conduct that endangered the welfare of his 1-month-old daughter, who prosecutors alleged suffered injuries related to physical abuse, but could not determine if the conduct rose to the level of assault.
The Montgomery County jury convicted Ryan Scott Lapish, 38, formerly of the 1000 block of Church Road, of a felony charge of endangering the welfare of a child in connection with February 2020 incidents that occurred at an East Greenville residence Lapish once shared with the child’s mother.
However, after four hours of deliberations on Monday, the jury was deadlocked on a more serious felony charge of aggravated assault. The specific nature of the split among the jurors was not revealed…
