A York County woman was drunk and driving in the wrong direction during a three-vehicle crash last month on Route 283 in East Hempfield Township that resulted in her death and injured a Pennsylvania state trooper and an Allentown man, according to state police.
Cpl. Ryan E. DeHaven, 28, and Joniel Toribio, 30, were taken to Lancaster General Hospital with suspected serious injuries following the Feb. 21 crash that killed 48-year-old Heather C. Bare, state police said late Tuesday night.
The police report said Bare’s blood alcohol content was at least 0.16%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is .08%…
