A Bucks County registered nurse is accused of physically abusing a child with severe medical problems that she was hired to take care of in the child’s Bensalem home.
Bensalem police opened an investigation into Jamison resident Cindy Desser, 57, after receiving a ChildLine report in October about a night nurse suspected of abusing a child whose medical conditions include using a trachea to breathe.
