An elderly woman is in critical condition and 19 people displaced after a fire tore through a Whitehall apartment building Thursday afternoon, a fire official said.
Township Fire Chief Mark Bilder told lehighvalleylive.com flames ignited around 2:30 p.m. at Olympic Garden Apartments, 1519 Athens Drive. The fire originated in the bathroom of apartment no. 8, Bilder said.
