An Oscar winner is coming home to the Lehigh Valley for upcoming film festival

The Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival returns to the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem April 24-26, headlined by Easton native and Academy Award-winning director Roger Ross Williams.

Williams, the first Black director to win an Oscar for his short film “Music By Prudence,” will close the festival April 26 with a 1 p.m. screening of his Oscar-nominated documentary “Life, Animated,” followed by a question-and-answer session.
