Easton man steals car after getting courtesy ride from owner, cops say

An Easton man is jailed after allegedly stealing a Subaru and leading Palmer Township officers on a high-speed pursuit that ended on a township road.

Kenneth Dicen, 25, of the 400 block of Arlington Street, is charged with felony theft; misdemeanor fleeing police; misdemeanor accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle; misdemeanor disorderly conduct; and summary offenses.

Dicen was arraigned Friday before District Judge Nicholas E. Englesson, who set bail at $10,000. In lieu of bail, Dicen was taken to Northampton County Prison, where he remained Monday…
