Police allege former employee redirected business funds into personal bank account and used company Wex card for hotel stays, tobacco and other purchases
A Hilltown Township woman is accused of stealing more than $9,000 from a Bucks County construction company by allegedly diverting company funds into her personal bank account and using a business fuel card to pay for hotel stays and personal purchases.
Nadine Barnett, 41, of the 3300 block of School Road in Kintnersville, was charged April 8 with multiple felonies, including theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, unlawful use of a computer and computer trespass, according to charging documents filed by Hilltown Township Police.
The investigation began Aug. 27, 2025, when the owner of CTC Construction along Rickert Road in the Perkasie section of Hilltown Township, reported alleged thefts from the company by a recently terminated employee, police said…
