Man who held up Bucks County banks facing decades in prison

A New York man is awaiting sentencing after admitting that he robbed, or attempted to rob, six banks in Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery counties in 2024.

In a Bucks County court appearance May 14, Marc Masich entered a no-contest plea to a first-degree felony charge of robbery, and guilty pleas to five other felony robbery charges.

In a no-contest plea a defendant doesn’t admit guilt, but acknowledges that prosecutors have enough evidence to convict. It’s treated the same as a guilty plea for sentencing…
