Wacky World playground reopens with ribbon-cutting, confetti, kids

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – An enthusiastic crowd gathered at Wills Park in Alpharetta on Saturday, May 23, for the grand opening of the new Wacky World Playground, with the rain mostly holding off for a ribbon-cutting and a chance for kids to try out the new equipment.

“There’s been some twists, some turns, some ups and downs, but with the perseverance and dedication of the City of Alpharetta, our citizens, our business leaders, our elected officials, we are now about to cut the ribbon on the best adaptive fully inclusive playground in the entire state of Georgia,” said Wacky World Committee Chair Jeremy Scott.
