Child saved from riverbank while on Roswell hike, firefighters say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Firefighters rescued a child who fell into a creek while hiking with their family in Roswell on Thursday.

Roswell Fire Department crews were called to Vickery Creek Park after learning the child had slipped and fallen down an embankment along Big Creek, which flows into the Chattahoochee River.
