A Flood Watch remains in effect for parts of North and West Georgia, including Metro Atlanta, as heavy rainfall today could lead to isolated flash flooding in low-lying and urban areas. Daily thunderstorm chances are expected to continue through much of the week, bringing the potential for heavy rain, gusty winds, frequent lightning, and an increasing flash flood risk where repeated rounds of rainfall occur.
