ROSWELL, Ga. — The Roswell Fire Department, with assistance from the Sandy Springs Fire Department, responded to a structure fire at the Panda Express on Holcomb Bridge Road before 9 a.m. June 7.
Fire crews arrived on scene within six minutes of the alarm to find a cooking fire that had spread to the roof through the kitchen exhaust vent.
“The men and women of the Roswell Fire Department did outstanding work on this call,” Chad Miller, the department’s public information officer, said. “They recognized quickly that the fire had moved into the void space above the kitchen and got ahead of it before it could spread to the rest of the building. That fast, coordinated effort is what kept the damage limited to a single unit and kept everyone safe.”…
