Man Allegedly Hid Behind Package, Asked Victim’s Name, Then Fired Multiple Shots at Front Door

Kennesaw, Georgia — A Georgia man is facing multiple felony charges after police say he disguised himself as a delivery driver and carried out a shocking doorstep shooting targeting his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.

Authorities in Kennesaw allege that Jacob Forrest Kevinsson, 33, used a cardboard box to conceal his identity before opening fire on the victim outside a residence, leaving the man seriously injured.

According to investigators, the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on May 6 at a home on Smith Street in Kennesaw, located roughly 25 miles northwest of Atlanta.
