New Kennesaw restaurant brings Cambodian flavors to Cobb County

KENNESAW — A new restaurant in Kennesaw is bringing unique flavors from Cambodia to Cobb County.

Joupe Jeht, located off Jiles Road, serves homestyle Cambodian soups, noodles, steamed buns, curries and more. It’s carryout only and officially opened on May 30.

Co-owners Jude Downs and Sreyya Hammond said Cambodian food isn’t necessarily defined by the region it comes from or by strict recipes. Instead, it pulls from a diverse range of ingredients, seasonings and cooking styles the individual families combine in unique ways…
