The 6-foot-3, 275-pound senior from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia, chose the Bearcats over Appalachian State, Charlotte, Georgia State, Colorado State, and Liberty. Jones is unranked according to 247 Sports, but seems to be an unrecruited player who is first team All-County in Georgia.
The Bearcats have been hard at work for the class of 2027, Jones is the 11th commit so far for the Bearcats, and is the second unranked player a part of the class and the second defensive lineman of the group.
In 2025, Jones finished with 17 total tackles, 15 of those tackles being solo. He has 4 sacks on the season, playing a crucial role in games against Norcross, Brookwood, Colquitt County, Douglas County, and Lowndes.
