BUFORD, Ga. — Lanier Islands Resort has opened the new Mike Williams Golf Center, completing a nearly $4 million investment aimed at transforming the resort into a year-round golf and entertainment destination.
The opening follows the debut earlier this spring of The Six, a six-hole, night-lit par-3 course that has drawn attention as one of the nation’s few illuminated golf courses. Together, The Six and the newly renovated golf center represent the resort’s “New Era of Golf” initiative.
