People in south Gwinnett could be getting a new park near Lake Lucerne and the Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary.
County commissioners approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Evermore Community Improvement District to work on a park concept plan for land along U.S. Highway 78. The land in question is located across the highway from Lake Lucerne Road, Gwinnett Parks and Recreation Director Chris Minor said.
“Evermore CID will manage and fund all phases of the concept development (and) the Parks and Recreation Department will make sure the concept aligns with our county standards and will provide guidance during the design process,” Minor said…
