A former rideshare driver in Georgia will spend the next 25 years behind bars without parole after a Cherokee County judge sentenced him for sexually assaulting and trafficking a 15-year-old girl.
Chief Superior Court Judge David L. Cannon Jr. handed down the sentence to 45-year-old Jeremiah Nicholas Norwood on August 13. Once released from prison, Norwood will remain on probation for the rest of his life under special conditions for registered sex offenders.
