A woman reported missing from Kentucky was found in Cherokee County Friday after authorities received an alert from license plate reader technology, the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office reports.
According to the sheriff’s office, the CSO Real Time Intelligence Center received an alert Friday morning from a Flock Safety automated license plate reader, indicating that a vehicle associated with a missing person from Kentucky was traveling northbound on Interstate 575 near Holly Springs.
The RTIC shared the information with deputies, and a deputy found the vehicle traveling northbound on I-575 near Airport Drive in Ball Ground, CSO reported.
