Jordan Scott Lieber, 21, of Marietta, is accused of pointing a gun at his grandmother and threatening to kill them both on Sept. 5 at 11:59 a.m. at a residence 4514 Highland Plains Court, Marietta, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Lieber pointed a Taurus G3X firearm at his 79-year-old grandmother saying he was going to kill her and then himself after having thrown her to the ground and holding her down. Lieber’s mother tried to pull him off his grandmother, which prompted him to point the gun at her head and say he wanted to kill them, according to the warrant.
Lieber threw his grandmother to the ground twice, causing a minor bruising injury to her elbow and also twisted her arm behind her back. Lieber intentionally spit on a police officer as he was being secured in the back of a patrol car. While in custody, Lieber said he felt like the only way to get out of his current situation was to either kill his grandmother or kill himself, according to the warrant…
