ALPHARETTA, Ga. — An Alpharetta data center whose owners say it handles financial transactions and information technology processes, not artificial intelligence, won planning commission approval Oct. 1 to add 60,000 square feet and a Georgia Power substation.
The final approval for the project rests with the Alpharetta City Council, which will vote on it during their Oct. 26 meeting. That meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 2 Park Plaza.
