LILBURN — Providence Christian’s fastpitch softball team is headed to Columbus for a third straight season.
The No. 5 seed Storm defeated No. 12 St. Francis 7-3 in their decisive Game 3 on Tuesday, winning the three-game series and advancing to the Elite Eight round in Columbus. The teams had split the first two games of the best-of-three series on Monday with Providence winning 7-1 in Game 1 and St. Francis winning 5-4 in Game 2.
