The Gist: Detectives are investigating a domestic incident after a woman was found dead at a Lawrenceville assisted living facility. The Latest: Detectives have charged 81-year-old Richard Hayden with malice murder, aggravated assault and felony murder. He is being evaluated at a nearby hospital for reasons unrelated to the incident and will be transported to the Gwinnett County Jail once released. The victim in this case has been identified as Richard’s wife, 71-year-old Grace Hayden. The cause of death will be determined by the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office.
