Smyrna Man Indicted for Fatal Stabbing

A Cobb grand jury indicted a Smyrna man for allegedly stabbing another man to death near Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital in March.

Randy Graham, 50, is accused of stabbing 40-year-old Herman Robinson of Marietta to death before fleeing the scene at the 2600 block of Windy Hill Road on the afternoon of March 11.

According to a warrant for Graham’s arrest, he allegedly stabbed Robinson twice with a four-inch pocketknife.

Cobb Police officers were dispatched to the scene on March 11 following a reported stabbing, where they found Robinson seriously injured.

Robinson was rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

Investigators learned Graham had stabbed Robinson before fleeing the scene. Graham called 911 hours after the incident and said he planned to surrender, police said. He turned himself in the day after the stabbing.

Graham is being held at the Cobb County Detention Center without bond. He was indicted on charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a knife during the commission of a felony and tampering with evidence.
