Georgia Running Back ‘Impressed’ By Recent Clemson Visit

CJ Givers made his very first visit to Clemson recently.

While the 2026 running back, out of Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA), did not get to spend any time with running backs coach CJ Spiller due to him being on vacation, he did spend much of the day with support staffer Andre Zow, and came away with how much emphasis Dabo Swinney places on player development.

“Really liked it a lot, it was nice,” Givers told The Clemson Insider. “I was really impressed with the facilities, everything like that. And I can really tell that coach Swinney, like all the coaches up there, they really focus on player development a lot. I really like that about the program.”

The Tigers have yet to hand out any offers to a running back in the 2026 class, Givers is certainly on the radar. Zow told him they would be keeping an eye on him as he goes through his junior season.

“They said they want to watch my first couple of games in the season, just kind of see how that works,” Givers said. “But they said they really like me a lot and just keep working.”
