Sequoyah Middle Student Wins Award For AI Project

The Clayton County Board of Education recently recognized Sequoyah Middle School eighth grader Jaidyn Lee, who won the grand prize from the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s annual STEMUp event. Lee’s idea for an AI facial recognition software machine aims to streamline the school entry process, enhancing security and saving valuable time for students and staff. To earn the $10,000 grand prize, he presented this idea at the live competition.
