A Gwinnett County family is searching for answers and justice after 20-year-old Talal Ansah was shot eight times, including once in the head, outside his home on Dec.18.

“You can’t die on us,” his sister Memuna Ansah said, recalling the words she spoke to her brother as he lay bleeding in the front of the home.
“We were telling him, keep your eyes open. We still need you here,” she said.
The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. on Pembrook Farm Way near Snellville. Police say the recent South Gwinnett High graduate had just returned home from his job with a transporting company when someone opened fire. His family was inside the home at the time and ran out to find him critically injured.
The former South Gwinnett basketball player is now fighting for his life in the hospital.
