Death of Baby Grayson: Sentencing revealed for man in 6-month-old’s killing

ATLANTA — The man accused of killing a 6-month-old baby in Atlanta in January 2022 has taken a negotiated plea deal, court records show.

On Jan. 24, 2022, Grayson Fleming Gray was riding in a car with his mom when a stray bullet hit and killed him by Anderson Park in northwest Atlanta.

In new developments on Thursday, Fulton County Superior Court records show one of the suspects in the case, Dequaise Little, pleaded guilty on a slew of charges:

  • Felony murder
  • Murder
  • Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
  • Violation of the Street Gang and Terrorism and Prevention Act
  • Criminal damage to property in the first degree
  • Criminal damage to commit a felony
  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony

Little will now spend the rest of his life in prison, with the possibility of parole, plus 20 years to run concurrently with his life sentence.
