MARIETTA — Tucked behind a retail warehouse in north Marietta is a 1.4-acre, triangular lot.
It’s believed to have once been home to a train depot. It later was state right-of-way, then city land, before being sold. Freight trains still rumble by, but all that remains on the property are weeds and a crumbling concrete foundation.
