On March 22, 2025, Atlanta experienced a series of shootings, with four incidents occurring throughout the day, leaving multiple individuals injured.
The first shooting took place at approximately 12:42 AM on 2008 Campbellton Road SW, where a 28-year-old male was shot in the face while traveling in his vehicle. The victim was conscious and alert when officers arrived, and he was transported to the hospital for treatment. Investigators from the Major Crimes Response Unit are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
At around 2:44 AM, officers responded to 1789 Cheshire Bridge Road NE, where a 31-year-old male was found with gunshot wounds to his arm, back, and head. He was not conscious but was breathing and was taken to the hospital. Shortly after, a 23-year-old male arrived at Emory University Hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs.
