SMYRNA, Ga. — Residents in Smyrna still have a bit of time to provide input on the redevelopment process for a nine-acre church site recently purchased by the city.
The Smyrna First Baptist Church site sits adjacent to the existing downtown Market Village development. The city can begin redeveloping it in two years, when the church completes a moves to a new campus.
In the meantime the city is beginning to lay down plans it hopes will “re-imagine this site as an extension of downtown’s character, scale, and walkability.”…
