Georgia State Patrol officials are defending the high-speed pursuit that ended in a deadly crash in Little Five Points this week. GSP tells WABE they will ensure the driver who fled deputies will be prosecuted to the fullest extent that Georgia law allows.
GSP tells WABE that the incident that killed 19-year-old Cooper Schoenke of DeKalb County is nothing short of heartbreaking. A car being pursued by a state trooper sped through a stoplight and collided with Schoenke’s vehicle Monday.
