Potential for severe weather continues through the weekend
This National Weather Service in its Hazardous Weather Outlook for north and central Georgia, including Walton, Gwinnett and surrounding counties, warns of the potential for severe weather beginning Thursday, May 8 and continuing through the weekend.
According to the NWS, on Day 1, today and tonight, Scattered thunderstorms this afternoon could produce severe storms across northern Georgia. The main threat will be damaging winds
