Wildflower Bunch is pleased to offer a program called How to Attract Birds Without Feeders at Scottsdale Farms Garden Center in Milton, GA on Wednesday, June 4.
The program is free or $28 to enjoy a delicious lunch after the program, provided by the Cafe at Scottsdale Farm. Lunch will include a choice of chicken salad, quiche, or green salad with a selection of beverage.
We will carpool from Wildcat Pavilion at 9:30 a.m. for the program starting at 10:30 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m. Of course, members are welcome to drive their own vehicle and meet there – especially if they plan to stay and shop. Scottsdale Farms has an incredible selection of plants, shrubs and trees to choose from.
WFB hosted its first two Coffee in the Garden Events which were attended by many enthusiastic Big Canoe gardeners. The first was at the garden of Karen and John Anderson. Karen has a small entry garden she started 5 years ago under and around an existing Japanese Maple Tree.
Many of her summer flowers that attract pollinators were not blooming yet, but some that were blooming included iris, coral honeysuckle, rhododendron, blue eyed grass and columbine.
The second Coffee in the Garden was at the garden of Jeanne and Rob Wassem. They have worked hard adding to a garden originally designed by Cynthia Hendry. The garden is lovely from a bird’s eye view on the deck or down below walking the extensive stone lined paths…
