Milton to Honor Fallen Heroes with Memorial Day Ceremony at Crabapple Market

Milton’s inhabitants are gearing up for a day of reverence as the city prepares for its Memorial Day Ceremony on May 26. The ceremony, an annual event to honor the sacrifices of the nation’s military personnel, is open to the public and set to take place at Crabapple Market in downtown Milton beginning at 10 a.m., as reported by the Milton Government News. Should the weather disagree, the event will relocate to the City Hall’s Council Chambers.

Those looking to pay their respects are asked by the city to RSVP by Monday, sending an email to [email protected] with details of their attendance. The ceremony promises to be one filled with patriotism, including live music, complimentary refreshments, and heartfelt tributes to the men and women who’ve laid down their lives in service, as outlined by the Milton Government News’ announcement.

Col. James A. Fulks, who answered the call of duty across the globe, retiring in 1994 after 27 years in the USMC, will serve as the event’s featured speaker.
