Cherokee County man convicted of beating woman, district attorney says

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A Cherokee County man has been convicted of beating a woman, according to the Cherokee County district attorney.

The district attorney said officers responded to a Woodstock home on July 3, 2024 after a child called 911.

Larry Ray Holt, 47, met them at the front door and claimed everyone was sleeping, but officers noticed a puddle of blood on the living room floor and “signs of struggle,” according to the district attorney…
