Atlanta, Georgia – Mercedes-Benz is set to expand its footprint in Georgia, announcing that Metro Atlanta will soon become the company’s North American headquarters. This Monday, Governor Brian Kemp announced the decision, calling it a big step forward for the state’s increasing image as a center for innovation and the auto sector.
The decision will mean that Mercedes-Benz will move some of its most important business teams to the “1MB” building in Sandy Springs. About 800 Georgians already work at this site, which debuted in 2018. As the corporation becomes more committed to Georgia, up to 500 more jobs are expected to be opened in the area.
