COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A father is facing felony charges after he’s accused of leaving his two young children, ages just 1 and 2, in a hot car that reached 100+ degrees at Cumberland Mall in Cobb County.
The incident happened last Wednesday, June 4, on an 80-degree day. The warrants say the children were left in the car for 41 minutes — the temperature recorded at 104 degrees where one was sitting, and at 106 degrees where the other was sitting.
