In the evening hours of June 17, officers responded to a shooting at 6187 Dawson Blvd, encountering a male victim with a gunshot wound to the chest who later died at a local hospital and a female who had been shot in the leg, was injured, but her involvement in the initial altercation is not clear; detectives have been active at the scene and in the community seeking a motive and following leads, per the official statement from Gwinnett County.
